Edith Mill was born Edith Rosalia Martha Müll on August 16, 1925, in Vienna, Austria. She married Richard König in 1953, but their marriage ended with his death in 1961. After her successful early career in Europe, she moved to Canada in 1968 and later worked as a yoga teacher. Mill trained at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 1941 to 1943.
