Later that year, she married Gardner Clarence Carpenter, with whom she had two children, Christopher and Deirdre.

Elizabeth began her acting journey in West End productions and made her film debut in Channel Crossing in 1933. She had small roles in several films and briefly gained attention for her rumored dates with Prince Edward. After marrying Crocker, she chose to leave her career to focus on family, returning briefly for her final role in A Star Is Born.

Elizabeth Jenns passed away on January 11, 1968, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, at the age of sixty-two.
