Born on September 19, 1904, in Enochville, North Carolina, Elvia Allman had a diverse career in entertainment. She was married three times, first to Wesley Benton Tourtellotte, followed by Charles “C.C.” Pyle, and lastly to Jerome Laveck Bayler. Her marriage to Bayler lasted 33 years until his death in 1978. Elvia had one child from her first marriage.
