Flory Jacobi

Flory Jacobi was an American actress born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on October 26, 1902. She is best known for her roles in “Spiel mit dem Tode,” “Intercontinental Express,” and “Er und Sie – Fernsehkurs für das Leben zu zweit.” Jacobi passed away on September 24, 1981, in Ettelbréck, Luxembourg.

Flory Jacobi was married to Milo Harbich from October 30, 1922, until their divorce in 1927. The couple had one child together. Jacobi’s son, Konrad “Conny” Scheel, became a graphic designer and an actor.

Career

Jacobi began her career in 1933 at Radio Leipzig and later became known as an actress, comedienne, and theater director. Starting in the early 1960s, she was a prominent speaker for the German program of Radio Luxembourg and eventually joined RTL, a German film and television channel, where she worked until 1980.
