Forest Evashevski was an American actor who is best known for Harmon of Michigan, 1960 Cotton Bowl, and 1957 Rose Bowl.

Forest Evashevski was born on February 19, 1918, in Detroit, Michigan. He was married to Ruth Margaret Brown from April 12, 1941, until his passing on October 30, 2009. Together, they had seven children. He was also the godfather of actor Mark Harmon.

Forest Evashevski passed away on October 30, 2009, in Petoskey, Michigan, due to cancer. He was well-respected in his field, having coached Iowa to multiple Rose Bowl victories in the late 1950s. In 1999, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy in sports history.
