Franca Belli, born Franca Phelan in Catania, Italy, got married to set designer Boris Bilinsky in 1936 in Florence, Italy. They had a daughter named Valeria, who was born on December 4, 1939, and sadly passed away on November 2, 1996. After Boris’s death, Franca and Valeria moved first to Spain and then to France in 1953, where they settled near Paris.
