Fred Immler

Fred Immler was born in 1880 under the name Ferdinand Immler. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a bank employee from 1900 to 1904. He took acting lessons starting in 1905 and began performing at the Hoftheater in Coburg in 1906.

Immler’s film career took off when he joined the film industry in 1912. He became a sought-after actor, frequently collaborating with the legendary Asta Nielsen. His acting career faced a pause during World War I, but he resumed his film activities in 1919.
