Fred Trueman was married twice, first to Enid E. Chapman from 1955 until their divorce in 1972, and later to Veronica Lundy from 1973 until his death. He had three children: Rebecca, Rodney, and Karen. His daughter Rebecca was briefly married to Damon Welch, the son of actress Raquel Welch.
Death and Legacy
Fred Trueman died on July 1, 2006, from lung cancer. He was not only known for his cricket career but also became a beloved television personality in the UK. In recognition of his charitable work, he was awarded the OBE in 1989.
