Becker, then to Henry East, with whom she ran East Kennels. Her second husband’s most famous dog, Skippy, became well-known for his role as Asta in The Thin Man series.

Career

Gale started her career as a singer with the Temple Opera Company before transitioning to film in 1915. Known for her eccentric looks and comedic style, she became popular in silent comedies, initially starring in short films for various producers.
