Garry Marsh, born Leslie March Geraghty, was born at sea on May 21, 1902. He was a character actor known for his heavy-set appearance and ability to portray comedic villains and authority figures. He was married twice, first to Adele Lawson and later to Muriel Martin-Harvey, with whom he had a divorced relationship by 1935. Garry was also the brother of writer Digby George Geraghty, known for his novels.
