Harindranath Chattopadhyay was the younger brother of famous freedom fighter Sarojini Naidu. He was married to Kamaladevi Chattopadhyaya, who was also an influential figure in India. Apart from his literary and acting pursuits, he was known for being involved in politics as a member of the 1st Lok Sabha representing Vijayawada.
