He gained recognition through films like “Cool Hand Luke” and “The Godfather Part II.” His performance in “Paris, Texas” directed by Wim Wenders showcased his talent, and he later became known for roles in “Repo Man” and “Pretty in Pink.” Besides acting, he was also a skilled musician, performing with his band for over a decade.
