Born on February 10, 1926, in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Hazel Court developed a passion for acting at a young age. She studied at her local School of Drama, which paved the way for a successful career in film. Court was married to Irish actor Dermot Walsh from 1949 until their divorce in 1963, and together they had one child. Later, she married American actor and director Don Taylor, with whom she had two children before his death in 1998.

Hazel Court passed away on April 15, 2008, in Lake Tahoe, California, due to a heart attack. Remembered for her roles in horror films, her striking red hair and deep voice left a lasting impact on generations of moviegoers.
