Henny Orri

Personal and Family Life

Henny Orri was married twice; her first husband was Ton Lensink, with whom she divorced in 1955. She later married Theo Kling in 1956, and they remained together until his death in 2018. Henny had one daughter, Diane Lensink, and enjoyed a close relationship with her grandchild, Matteo van der Grijn.

Death and Legacy

Henny Orri died on January 4, 2022, from natural causes in her hometown of Amsterdam. She left behind a significant legacy in the Dutch entertainment industry, being recognized for her talents in both acting and voice work, including providing the voice for Mrs. Potts in the Dutch version of Beauty and the Beast. In 1986, she was awarded the Theo d’Or, which is the Dutch equivalent of the Tony Award for best actress.
