Hilde Körber was married to the film director Veit Harlan from 1929 until their divorce in 1938, and they had three children together, including actress Susanne Körber-Harlan. She also had a second marriage to Walter Varndal, which ended in divorce. Körber trained at the Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna from 1920 to 1922.

Death and Legacy

Hilde Körber passed away on May 31, 1969, in West Berlin, West Germany. Throughout her career, she took on mainly supporting roles in films and contributed to the theater as the director of the Max Reinhardt acting academy in Berlin.
