Personal and Family Life
Hiralal was born on March 14, 1912, in Lahore. He had three sons: Krishen Hiralal Thakur, Kammal Hiralal Thakur, who is a film director, and Ajay Thakur. His son Inder Thakur married Priya, and they had a child together. Tragically, Inder, Priya, and their child died in the bombing of Air India Flight 182 in 1985.
Death and Legacy
Hiralal died on June 27, 1982, in Mumbai. He is remembered as one of the first notable villains in Hindi cinema, leaving a lasting impact on the industry. His contributions to films continue to be celebrated by audiences and filmmakers alike.
