Jackie Vernon was married to Hazel Davalt from October 27, 1958, until his passing, and together they had three children: David, Lisa, and Tracey. Career

Beginning in small nightclubs, Jackie’s big break came when comedian Steve Allen invited him to perform on “Celebrity Talent Scouts” in 1963. Over the years, he appeared on famous shows like “The Ed Sullivan Show,” “The Dean Martin Show,” and “The Tonight Show.” With a unique blend of humor and satire, Vernon often portrayed the role of an unfortunate loser in his routines.
