James Condon

James Condon was married twice, first to Joan Cranmer, with whom he had four children: Elizabeth, Susan, Catherine, and Mary Anne. Later, he married Anne Haddy in 1977, and they worked together on the show Neighbours. He had a sibling named Coralie Condon.

Career

Condon began his career in acting on ABC radio in Perth before joining the Air Force during World War II. After the war, he worked with the BBC before returning to Australia, where he became known for playing upper-class and authority figures. He also hosted a quiz program called “We’re Asking You” on Australian radio.
