Jane Actman was an American actress who is best known for her roles in Wonder Woman, Last of the Mohicans, and Mannix.

Jane Actman was born on April 6, 1949, in New York City. She was married to Gene Castle from November 29, 1969, until her death in 2018. Actman was the daughter of Irving Actman and Cassie Hanley.

Career

Actman is remembered for her role as “Nancy Lawrence Maitland” in the early episodes of the series Family. Although she was later replaced by Meredith Baxter-Birney, the continuity of the character required Baxter-Birney to mimic Actman’s performance closely.
