Jane Hamilton was born on November 7, 1915, in Baltimore, Maryland. She had a long career in show business and was married twice, first to William I. Hollingsworth in 1938, with whom she had two children, and later to Edward G. Wormhoudt in 1949. Hamilton also had a sibling named Wilhelmina Brooke Logan. During World War II, she served with the Red Cross, showing her commitment to helping others.
Career
She began her career as one of the Goldwyn Girls, a famous troupe of dancers. Jane worked primarily in small roles in various films, many of which remained uncredited. One of her notable performances was in the comedy short Three Missing Links, released in 1938, where she played Mirabel. Besides acting, she enjoyed a stint as a model at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
Death and Legacy
Jane Hamilton passed away on February 9, 2004, in Malibu, California. After her death, her ashes were scattered at sea, honoring her lifelong love of the ocean. She was also recognized for her role as a founding member and president of The Colleagues, a charitable organization aimed at helping various causes.
