Jane Sherwin was an American actress who is best known for Doctor Who, Blake’s 7, and Paul Temple.
Personal and Family Life
Jane Sherwin, born Jane Parsons in 1934, began her acting career under her maiden name. She graduated from RADA in 1954 and appeared on television and in Provincial Repertory before taking a break to care for her three children. She returned to acting in the late 1960s after marrying actor and producer Derrick Sherwin.
Death and Legacy
Jane Sherwin passed away on December 16, 2022, in England due to natural causes. After her acting career, she dedicated herself to charitable work and served as the Central America coordinator for the British Section of Amnesty International. She continued writing and performing poetry well into her later years.
