Jean Dinning was born Eugenia Doy Dinning on March 29, 1924, in Braman, Oklahoma. She was part of the musical group The Dinning Sisters with her twin sister Ginger and their sister Lou. Jean was married three times, first to Howard Mack, with whom she had four children, then to Red Surrey, with whom she had one child, and lastly to Joel Beasley until his death in 1997. She had a total of five children and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Death and Legacy
Jean Dinning passed away on February 22, 2011, in Garden Grove, California. She left behind a rich legacy in music and film, being known for her contributions as a singer and songwriter, including the hit song “Teen Angel” recorded by her brother, Mark Dinning. She is remembered fondly by her five children, eight grandchildren, and through her work in the entertainment industry.
