Joan Sawyer, originally named Bessie Josephine Sawyer, was married to George A. Rentschler; however, their marriage ended in divorce in 1936. She briefly worked as a dancing partner with the famous Rudolph Valentino during her years in vaudeville and also performed in London with her dancing partner, Wallace McCutcheon Jr.
Death and Legacy
Joan Sawyer died in November 1966 in Dade County, Florida. Despite her limited filmography, she remains remembered for her performances in both film and stage, as well as for her contributions to the world of dance during her time.
