Jocelyn Brando

Jocelyn Brando was an American actress who is best known for her roles in The Big Heat, Mommie Dearest, and The Ugly American. She was also the older sister of the famous actor Marlon Brando.

Jocelyn Brando was born on November 18, 1919, in San Francisco, California. She grew up on a farm in Illinois with her brother Marlon, who later became a well-known actor. Career

Jocelyn began her acting career in community theater and made her Broadway debut shortly after her 22nd birthday. Although her early plays were not successful, she gained recognition in the hit play Mister Roberts in 1948. She is remembered for her role as Katie Bannion in the classic film The Big Heat. Jocelyn also had a successful television career, appearing in various shows from the 1940s through the 1980s.

Jocelyn Brando passed away from natural causes on November 27, 2005, in Santa Monica, California, just days after her 86th birthday.
