John Garrick was married to Harriet Bennett. Initially educated at Brighton College, he started his career as a bank clerk but quickly transitioned to the musical stage in 1924. Garrick toured both Britain and Australia, performing in various musical comedies under the name ‘Reginald Dandy’.
