John Patrick was married twice; his first wife was Winifred Josephine Reeves, who was known as Winnie Lightner, a prominent star in early Warner Bros. films. Their marriage lasted from June 18, 1918, until April 13, 1921. He later married Mildred La Gue on March 26, 1925, but this marriage ended in divorce by December 1930. Patrick’s family background includes his father, Richard Pyle, and his mother, Minnie Isabella Smith.

Death and Legacy

John Patrick passed away on March 9, 1958, in Barry, Michigan. Though not widely recognized today, his contributions to early cinema, particularly in the silent film era, have left a lasting impression. His performances in various films helped shape the entertainment landscape of his time.
