Jon Hager was born on August 30, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. He was married to Catherine Akersloot Hager Hayward, but they eventually divorced and had one child together. He had two daughters named Jessyca Dawn Hager and Mandy Hager. Jon also had several grandchildren, including Naomi, Aria, and Shayla.
Health and Later Years
After the death of his brother Jim in May 2008, Jon’s health started to decline. Just eight months later, he passed away in his sleep on January 9, 2009, in Nashville, Tennessee, from natural causes.
