Karl-Heinz Kreienbaum

Karl-Heinz Kreienbaum was a German actor known for his work at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg and various film and television appearances.

Karl-Heinz Kreienbaum was born on April 29, 1915, in Hamburg, Germany. He pursued his acting career after attending secondary school, studying under Willi Maertens at the Thalia Theatre. He was married to Gertrud from 1942 until his death and they had one child together.

Career

Kreienbaum made his stage debut in November 1936 at the Landestheater Neuss and returned to Hamburg after World War II. He became a prominent actor at the Ohnsorg Theater from 1949 onwards and celebrated his 65th stage anniversary in November 2001.

Death and Legacy

Karl-Heinz Kreienbaum passed away on October 16, 2002, in Schleswig, Germany. He left behind a rich legacy in German theater and film, remembered for his extensive body of work and contributions to Hamburg’s cultural scene.
