Kathie Fitch was born on December 10, 1946, in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was previously married to Eric Edwards from 1967 until their divorce and later to J.P. Bumstead from 1977 to 1984. In her youth, she studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and started her professional journey as a dancer.
Career
Kathie started her career as a dancer and transitioned into acting, performing in various plays and musicals in the early 1970s. She was known for her comedic roles and collaborated frequently with filmmaker Joseph W. Sarno, appearing in several of his films. Though she gained fame during the 1970s, she decided to retire from acting by the mid-1970s and later became a police officer.
