Kevin Leslie Jones was born on March 12, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Leslie F. and Joyce Bitton Jones. He had a brother named Chris Jones, who created the “Tex Murphy” computer game series. Kevin attended schools in Davis County and later studied at the University of Utah. He was married twice, first to Sharon Helms and then to Susie H. Fisher, although both marriages ended in divorce.
Career
Jones is most recognized for his portrayal of Police Lieutenant Mac Malden in the “Tex Murphy” video game series. He played this role in three live-action installments and made a final appearance in an audio drama. Aside from acting, he had a career in broadcasting and worked for both KALL Radio and Fox TV, as well as in sales for Access Software and Microsoft.
