Personal and Family Life
Born Raymond Robinson on May 29, 1888, in Deadwood, South Dakota, he was married to Malvina Chaix, who was the sister of Ida Totheroh. Kite worked as a propman for Essanay Films starting in 1909 and ventured west with the company in 1910. He also spent years working as an electrician at the Orpheum Theater in Oakland, California, from 1916 to 1920.
Death and Legacy
Kite Robinson passed away on June 10, 1954, in Los Angeles, California. His contributions to early cinema, particularly in silent films, remain a part of film history. He is remembered for his work as both an actor and a prop master in the motion picture industry.
