Linné Ahlstrand was born on July 1, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois. She worked at a postcard factory during her teenage years before moving to New York City to pursue modeling and acting. Ahlstrand was married on September 7, 1965, shortly after returning to the Los Angeles area.

Career

Ahlstrand gained fame as the Playmate of the Month for July 1958 in “Playboy” magazine, and she was known as the first Playmate to pass away. She appeared in several films, including a minor role as Natalie in “Beast from Haunted Cave” and a more significant role as Diane in “Living Venus.” Additionally, she had a recurring role as a dispatcher on the action crime TV series “Highway Patrol.”

Death and Legacy

Linné Ahlstrand passed away at the young age of 30 from cancer on January 18, 1967, in Pasadena, California. Despite her brief career, she remains remembered for her contributions to film and modeling and is acknowledged as a pioneer among Playboy Playmates.
