Lisa Lyon was born on May 13, 1953, in Los Angeles, California. She studied art at UCLA and was known for her accomplishments as a female bodybuilder. She was married to Alan Deglin, from whom she was widowed in 2020, and previously to Bernard Lavilliers, whom she divorced.
Death and Legacy
Lisa Lyon passed away on September 8, 2023, in Westlake Village, California, after battling cancer. She was recognized not only for her acting but also as the first World Women’s Bodybuilding champion in 1979. Her image inspired the popular character Elektra, created by Frank Miller.
