Lois Sturt was the daughter of Humphrey Napier Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington, and Lady Feodorowna Yorke. She had a brother, Napier George Henry Sturt, who became the 3rd Baron Alington. Lois was also an artist and noted for her skills in miniature painting. In April 1928, she married Evan Morgan, the 2nd Viscount Tredegar, and remained with him until her death.
