Lotti Huber

Lotti Huber was an American actress known for her roles in Anita: Dances of Vice, City of Lost Souls, and Die Alptraumfrau. She was born on October 16, 1912, in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Personal and Family Life

Lotti Huber was born as Charlotte Goldmann. She married Norman Huber, with whom she spent many years, until his death in 1971. She also had a marriage with Alec Kingaby, which ended in divorce.

Career

Huber was a talented cabaret actress and dancer. Due to her Jewish heritage, she was imprisoned in a concentration camp in 1937 for a year. After being released, she emigrated to Palestine, where she continued her artistic endeavors before eventually returning to Berlin and collaborating with director Rosa von Praunheim.

Death and Legacy

Lotti Huber passed away on May 31, 1998, in Berlin, Germany, due to heart failure. Her contributions to theatre and film, especially during challenging times in her life, left a lasting impact on the industry and continue to be remembered.
