Lotus Thompson was born on August 22, 1906, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She started her acting career on stage in Sydney as a child. In 1929, she married Edward W. Churchill but they divorced in 1936. Later, she married Stanley Robinson in 1937, and they lived together in Burbank, California, without having any children.

Career

Lotus began her film career in 1921 with the movie Know Thy Child. After moving to Hollywood in 1924, she worked as an extra before gaining some fame for her legs and appearances in various films. She appeared in several movies during the late 1920s to 1940s, with a notable filmography including roles in Rough House Rosie alongside Clara Bow.

Death and Legacy

Lotus Thompson passed away on May 19, 1963, due to heart disease and respiratory failure at the age of fifty-eight. She was cremated and laid to rest at the Chapel of the Pines in Los Angeles, California. Though her film career was not extensive, her unique story and public persona continued to capture some attention in Hollywood history.
