Margaret Jane Blye, known as Maggie, was the daughter of Judy Wilson and John Richard Blye. She studied at the University of Texas and later transferred to UCLA. Maggie had a passion for acting from a young age.

Career

Maggie began her acting career with a significant role in the Oscar-nominated film “Summer and Smoke.” Over the years, she starred in many films, including “Waterhole #3” and “Ash Wednesday,” and guest-starred in numerous TV shows. In 1968, she became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Death and Legacy

After a courageous two-year battle with cancer, Margaret Blye passed away on March 24, 2016, at her home in West Hollywood, California. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. Maggie was laid to rest beside her parents in Houston, Texas, fulfilling her wishes.
