Marguerite Oswald was born on July 19, 1907, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was married three times, first to Edward John Pic Jr., then to Robert E. Lee Oswald, with whom she had two children, and finally to Edwin A. Ekdahl. She was the mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, a key figure in American history, and became known for her connection to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Death and Legacy

Marguerite Oswald passed away on January 17, 1981, in Tarrant County, Texas, due to cancer. After the assassination of JFK, she gained public attention and was protected by a Secret Service agent until her daughter-in-law Marina Oswald’s testimony before the Warren Commission was completed. Her legacy continues through her connection to one of the most controversial figures in American history, Lee Harvey Oswald.
