Maria Ann Hendricks was born in 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, out of wedlock. She married Harry W. Stinger in 1949, with whom she had three daughters: Spring Dawn, Summer Sue, and Autumn Lynn. The couple divorced in February 1965.

Career Highlights

Maria began her modeling career in Miami, where she quickly became popular, even winning a local beauty contest in 1954. She worked with famous photographers and was the first model for Bunny Yeager, appearing on the cover of a magazine in 1954. Throughout her career, she was featured in various men’s magazines and appeared in soft-core films and nudie cuties during the 1960s.

Death and Legacy

Tragically, Maria Stinger took her own life by overdosing on sleeping pills in November 1967 at the age of 36. Despite her success, her life was marked by struggles, and her passing left a significant impact on her family and the modeling community.
