Marie Osborne’s birth name was Helen Alice Myres. She was married to Frank J. Dempsey from 1931 to 1937, with whom she had one child. Later, she married Murray F. Yeats in 1945, remaining together until his death in 1975. Marie had a father, H.L. Shriver, a wealthy tycoon, from whom she inherited a considerable fortune, but she did not learn about their relationship until after his passing.

Career

Osborne began her acting career as a child actor, making appearances in films from 1915 and continuing into the 1950s. She played minor roles in many productions, including standing in for famous actresses like Ginger Rogers and Betty Hutton.
