Marvin Lee Bryan was born on November 3, 1927, in Los Angeles, California. He was married three times; his last wife was Phyllis E. Bryan, whom he married in 1979. He had previously been married to Leslie L. Weiner and Marie L. Schumann. In addition to his family life, he was an author of 15 books, focusing on graphics design and typography.

Career

Bryan’s career in entertainment began in radio and television, where he worked as a writer, director, actor, and announcer from 1946 to 1958. He starred in several notable TV shows before moving into film writing and production. He was also appointed Vice President of the Campbell-Ewald advertising agency in 1977, which he left in 1987 to focus on writing full time.
