Mary Carver

Mary Carver was an American actress who is best known for Arachnophobia, Simon & Simon, and The Rockford Files.

Personal and Family Life

Mary Carver was born on May 3, 1924, in Los Angeles, California. She was married to Joseph Sargent from 1952 until their divorce in November 1968, with whom she had two children, including her daughter Lia Sargent. In addition to her acting career, she was also a professor in the theatre department at the University of Southern California.

Death and Legacy

Mary Carver passed away on October 18, 2013, in Woodland Hills, California. Her contributions to film and theatre earned her recognition, including the 1986 Drama Logue Award for Outstanding Performance for her role in “A Christmas Memory” at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre. Her work continues to be celebrated by fans and the theatre community.
