Mary O’Brien was the mother of Jimmy Greenspoon, the keyboardist for the band Three Dog Night, and the grandmother of keyboardist Jim Greenspoon. After moving to Hollywood, she roomed with the famous actress Joan Crawford. Mary had a brief romantic pursuit from Douglas Fairbanks Jr., but she was not interested in him and instead introduced him to her roommate, Joan Crawford.
