Matt Willis

Matt Willis was born on October 16, 1913, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He had two marriages, first to Martha Anne Hayes from 1935 until her death in 1965, and then to E. Suzanne Willis, who was with him until his passing in 1989. He had two children with Martha and lived a quiet life near his hometown in Virginia.

Career

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Willis took on a leadership role at the Fredericksburg Little Theatre. After a long career in film, he shifted to working as an advertising salesman for a local radio station, WQVA, where he enjoyed a stable life with his family along the Rappahannock River.

Death and Legacy

Matt Willis passed away on March 30, 1989, in his hometown of Fredericksburg. His career in film left a mark, especially his memorable roles in various movies from the 1940s. He is remembered for both his contributions to the theater and his dedication to his community.
