Maurice Bush

Maurice Bush was an American actor and boxer best known for his role as Dengar, the bandaged bounty hunter in The Empire Strikes Back, and his appearances in Return of the Jedi and other films.

Maurice Edward Bush was born on June 3, 1930, in Pimlico, London, England. He began his boxing career in 1951, joining the Busy Bee Motorcycle Club and becoming a sparring partner for light heavyweight champion Don Cockle. Over his boxing career, he participated in 24 fights, winning 12 and losing 12, with many of his victories coming by knockout.
