Michael Mineo was born on March 14, 1937, in the Bronx, New York. He was the son of Josephine and Salvatore Mineo Sr., who immigrated from Sicily. Michael had three siblings: Sal, Victor, and Sarina Mineo. He was married to Trevina Kapchan from 1977 until his death in 1984.
Career
Michael Mineo appeared in only two films during his acting career. After that, he moved to Mamaroneck, New York, where he helped run a family health food store. Despite a brief acting career, he was part of a talented family that included his famous brother, Sal Mineo.
Death and Legacy
Michael Mineo passed away on June 28, 1984, in White Plains, New York, due to a heart attack. He is buried alongside his brother Sal Mineo in a small plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, New York. His contributions to film, though limited, are remembered by his family and fans.
