Mike Bongiorno was born Michael Nicholas Salvatore Bongiorno on May 26, 1924, in New York City. He was married three times, with his last wife being Daniela Zuccoli, with whom he had three children: Michele, Nicolò, and Leonardo. His earlier marriages were to Annarita Torsello and Rosalia Maresca.
Death and Legacy
Bongiorno passed away on September 8, 2009, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, due to a heart attack at the age of 85. He is remembered as the “king of Italian quiz shows,” having made significant contributions to the entertainment industry in Italy.
