Miranda Jones was born on April 14, 1934, in North Carolina. She graduated from the Woman’s University of North Carolina, now known as the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After her graduation, she studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she shared an apartment with Suzanne Pleshette. Miranda was married to Robert Webber from October 1, 1953, until their divorce on July 5, 1958.

Miranda Jones passed away on February 12, 1973, in Kinston, North Carolina, due to a brain tumor.
