Mort Mills was an American actor who is best known for Psycho, Touch of Evil, and Torn Curtain. He was born on January 11, 1919, in New York City, New York, and passed away on June 6, 1993, in Ventura, California.

Personal and Family Life

Mort Mills was married three times. His first marriage was to Mary Loretta Grady from 1944 until their divorce in 1955, and they had two children together. He later married Elizabeth (Betty) Dell Pentland twice, first from 1956 to 1962 and then from 1964 until their divorce in 1973, and had one child with her. Mills was also known for his height, standing at 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m).

Death and Legacy

Mort Mills died of a heart attack on June 6, 1993, in Ventura, California. He left behind a legacy as a talented actor who contributed to classic films and television shows throughout his career. His most memorable role remains that of the Highway Patrol Officer in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
