Muriel Evans was married twice. Her first marriage was to Michael Cudahy from 1929 until their divorce in 1932. She later married Marshall R. Worcester in 1936, and they stayed together until his passing in 1971.

Evans gained recognition for her performances alongside popular stars such as William Boyd, Buck Jones, and an early John Wayne in a series of ’30s westerns. She was also Charley Chase’s favorite leading lady and featured prominently in many of his comedy shorts. In March 1932, she was one of 12 actresses who won a beauty contest held by Paramount Pictures, which led to an appearance in the film “Sinners in the Sun.”
